Dani Burgoyne spent 14 years teaching in the Davis County School District in Centerville and Layton, Utah — eleven of them in 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade, plus three years supporting students in a Functional Skills classroom. These days she brings that same one-on-one attention to a small number of tutoring students, right from her home in Centerville.
She's trained and certified in the University of Utah's Next Steps reading program, on top of ongoing coursework in reading, writing, and math instruction. And when she's not tutoring, she's likely keeping up with her six grown children and a growing crowd of grandchildren — ask any of them, they'll vouch for her patience.
